From the first time he heard Neal Smith play on Alice Cooper's "Muscle of Love", Steve knew he wanted to be a drummer.
He got his first drum kit at age 13, after pestering his parents for one. It was a tiger stripe piece of
junk and he beat the shit out of them, but he knew it was his destiny.
After playing in countless bands in his junior high and high school years, he hit the road in 1982 with his first serious band, "Street Legal". Many more bands followed, and now he is part of one of Canada's best hard rock acts, Black Ju-Ju.
